Congratulations to Medicare and Medicaid!

On July 30, 1965, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed into law legislation establishing Medicare and Medicaid.

56 years later, millions of people are healthier because of these programs.

From all of us at MNHC, congratulations to the leaders, activists, and elected officials who made this possible. Since 1967 when MNHC was founded, we have been witnessing the extraordinary effects these programs have on Latino and immigrant families.
