Community Programs
Bilingual, free, drop-in care and social services for homeless residents of the 16th Street corridor. Founded in 2002. Harm-reduction model.

The Mission Neighborhood Resource Center (MNRC) was founded in 2002 as a community response to the neighborhood's growing homeless population. MNRC advocates for housing and resources to enhance the physical, social, emotional, and economic health of homeless residents in the 16th Street corridor and the surrounding Mission neighborhood.
MNRC operates on a harm-reduction model — focused on dignity, community-building, and meeting basic human needs while residents move toward greater stability and well-being. All services are bilingual, free, and drop-in.
