Comprehensive bilingual eye care at the Shotwell Clinic — exams, eyewear, diabetic care, and pediatric vision. Available to all MNHC patients on a sliding scale.
MNHC opened its optometry office at the Shotwell Clinic so patients can get vision care without going elsewhere. This matters especially for people with diabetes, high blood pressure, or school-age children — conditions where eye health and overall health are deeply connected.
We accept Medi-Cal, Medicare, and most commercial insurance with vision benefits. Uninsured patients qualify for MNHC's Sliding Fee Discount Program. Diabetic eye exams are usually covered 100% by Medi-Cal and most medical insurance — no separate vision benefit needed.
