Mission Neighborhood Health Center is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We apply recognized accessibility standards, fix barriers as we find them, and want to hear about any we have missed.
We build and maintain this website working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Some content — particularly archival PDF documents — does not yet meet that standard, and we are working to remediate or replace it. See the “PDFs and downloadable documents” section below for how we handle files that may not be fully accessible.
This website hosts a number of PDF documents — patient notices, the Notice of Privacy Practices, financial statements, brochures, and application forms. We are remediating these on a rolling basis, and some older files may not yet be fully accessible to screen readers. Wherever possible the same content is also published as an accessible HTML page (for example, the HTML version of the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices is the operative notice — the PDF is provided for offline reading and printing).
