Community Programs
Culturally-rooted HIV prevention and wellness for San Francisco's Latino community — in partnership with Instituto Familiar de la Raza.

The Latino Wellness Center is a collaboration between Mission Neighborhood Health Center and Instituto Familiar de la Raza (opens in a new tab). It offers prevention and wellness services for people at risk for or living with HIV — including rapid testing and PrEP.
Primary medical care is not offered at this site — we are a prevention, education, and support hub. For medical care, we help connect you to MNHC's Shotwell Clinic or another clinic of your choice.
Confidential testing on-site. HIV, hepatitis C, and syphilis results in about 20 minutes. Chlamydia and gonorrhea results in three days. No appointment needed. Bilingual staff provide pre- and post-test counseling.
Drop-in
HIV risk-reduction program for Spanish-speaking Latino gay and bisexual men. Founded in 1995, based on Dr. Rafael M. Diaz's research, emphasizing cultural pride, community-building, and personal empowerment. Group sessions and individual counseling.
