In Memory of Gladys Sandlin, Former MNHC Executive Director
It is with sadness that we share the passing of Gladys Sandlin, our MNHC matriarch, on May 1, 2025. Gladys was a former Executive Director of MNHC.
For 25 years, she kept our doors open and worked tirelessly with health leaders, policymakers, and community organizations to improve the health and well-being of generations in the Mission and Excelsior districts of San Francisco.
We celebrate Gladys’s life, honor her legacy, and remain deeply grateful for the lasting contributions she made to MNHC.
Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and our community she championed.
