“Vidas Saludables,” a Total Success!

Vidas Saludables was a health fair aiming to connect Latino families with resources and access to COVID19 vaccines and testing, held on Saturday, April 23rd from 10 am to 2pm at Chan Kaajal Park on Folsom and 17th street, in San Francisco’s Mission District.

Mission Neighborhood Health Center, along with several other community organizations, participated with several teams: Wellness, who provided blood pressure monitoring and information, COVID19 vaccination (first, second, third and forth doses), and HIV testing prevention.

What we loved the most was to see families together, enjoying a sunny day at the park while getting vaccinated or receiving important information on services available to them.

It was a great event!

Organizers: MEDA, Mission Promise, Mission Graduates, Mission Neighborhood Health Center y several other community groups.
