COVID-19 Vaccine Updates
Patients will receive a call from MNHC when it is your time to schedule a vaccination appointment.
Check this webpage weekly for updates about vaccine availability at MNHC!
MNHC receives COVID-19 vaccine from the San Francisco Department of Public Health, and we are following state guidance about who should receive the vaccine. This includes our patients who are:
- Health care or long term care employees
- People aged 65 years and older
- Education and childcare workers
- Emergency services workers
- Food and agriculture workers
Currently we do not have enough doses to vaccinate all eligible patients right away. We hope to receive more vaccine in the coming weeks.
Eventually, everyone who wants a COVID-19 vaccine will be able to receive it.
Please be patient. Continue to protect yourself and your family until you can receive your vaccine. Wear a mask, social distance, and wash your hands.
New City Vaccine Sign-up Website for Eligible San Franciscans
February 4, 2020 | The City of San Francisco has launched a new website where San Franciscans who are eligible for the vaccine can sign up at the City’s high volume vaccine sites: https://sf.gov/get-vaccinated-against-covid-19
Those currently eligible in San Francisco include people who are 65 years of age and older or healthcare workers including doctors, nurses, paramedics, and health service workers. Please note that supply of the vaccine is still quite limited, so even if you are eligible you may not be able to book an appointment right away. The City is launching these high volume sites so that we have places to vaccinate San Franciscans. Right now, there is not enough vaccine supply to vaccinate everyone who is eligible.
You do not need health insurance to book an appointment. Vaccines are free to people who live and work in San Francisco.
