Capital Campaign: For Great Health Care Outcomes and Equity
MNHC has a goal to raise 3.5 million dollars. Help us reach this goal!
Building the Excelsior Clinic
MNHC entered into a collaborative and successful application with BRIDGE Housing to the SF Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development for the development of affordable housing with an on-site health center. This building will be located at 4840 Mission Street, which is in the heart of the Excelsior District. The new Excelsior Clinic at 10,000 sq. ft. – double the existing space – will have 11 exam rooms, a wellness conference room for patient and community education, Behavioral Health office, and a dental clinic.
Construction is projected to start in the second quarter of 2021 and completed by the first quarter of 2023.
You can bring Health and Wellness to Excelsior
San Francisco’s Excelsior district is a diverse family-oriented working class community in need of excellent low cost health care. MNHC’s excelsior clinic serves primarily low income families most of whom receive Medi-Cal or Medicare with about 30% being uninsured. We are the largest provider of low cost health care in the Excelsior District.
A larger clinic will double MNHC’s capacity to provide the Excelsior community with primary health care services across the life cycle including prenatal care, pediatrics, teen services, family planning, women’s health services, adult and senior medicine, integrated behavioral health and dental services.
It is time to invest in the health of the Excelsior District. Your contribution will provide a medical home for the Excelsior community.
