Mission Neighborhood Health Center Keeps its Doors Open

While the recent Shelter In Place order is requiring individuals to stay home, Mission Neighborhood Health Center’s mandate is to actively engage in the public health response to the COVID-19 by continuing to provide necessary medical services to our patients.

We are taking precautions to protect the health and safety of our patients and staff by cancelling non-urgent appointments, as appropriate conducting telephonic visits and screening patients with cold or flu symptoms over the phone. We are following standard infection control measures and have procedures in place to isolate any patient with suspected COVID-19 symptoms. We are following and staying informed on all recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and the San Francisco Department of Public Health.

By continuing to care for our patients primary care needs, we decompress the public health system most notably San Francisco General Hospital Emergency Room and Urgent Care.

We are thankful for our staff for their professional commitment to our patients and community. We know they are balancing family and work responsibilities. They are true champions!
