Annual Christmas Toy Give Away Delivers Smiles

On December 13^th, 2014, a line of families wrapped around Mission Neighborhood Health Center in anticipation of the annual Christmas Toy Drive. MNHC’s volunteers and staff were ready with smiles to match the childrens’ and plenty of Christmas spirit.

After choosing a toy that fit their desire, each family was able to leave with a bag of fresh groceries and happy children. With the support of the generous donations received, we were able to gift 744 toys and 3,217 pounds of food.

“This year we exceeded our goals,” said Soraya Urrutia, event organizer.  “It made all the planning and effort so worthwhile.”
