MNHC offers pediatric primary care for children and teens. Our culturally-sensitive, kid-friendly bilingual staff work closely with parents. Our goal is the same as yours: happy, healthy children!
Pediatric services include:
- Routine health visits including Well Baby and physical exams; school and sports physicals
- Full scope immunization services for Children birth to 18 years old
- Acute / “Sick” visits
- Chronic care for pediatric diseases (such as asthma, obesity, or allergies)
- IHIP (Infant Health Intervention Program): Comprehensive Care Program for high risk newborns
- Nutritionist and behavioral health professionals specialized in caring for children and teens
- Coordination of specialty services and community resource referrals
- Adolescent health services
- Dental Referrals
After-Hours Clinic for Children and Newborns
Mission Neighborhood Health Center offers after-hours medical care for children and newborns at our Mission-Bernal Clinic. The After-Hours Clinic is available to all children for conditions that require immediate medical attention. Our pediatricians are available evenings, weekends and holidays, but parents must make an appointment by calling 1 (866) 961-8588.
Following are the conditions treated at the After-Hours Clinic:
Cold, flu, sore throat, cough, diarrhea, upset stomach, fever, rash, headache, and earache.
To schedule an appointment, please call 1 (866) 961-8588.
If your child is sick, we can see them at the following hours:
Monday through Friday: 5pm to 8pm
Saturday: 1pm to 5pm
Sunday: 1pm to 5pm
If your newborn needs weight or jaundice care, we can see them at the following hours:
Saturday: 9am to 1pm
Sunday: 9am to 1pm
