For more than 50 years, MNHC has been rooted in the Mission and Excelsior districts — providing bilingual primary care, prenatal and women's health, pediatrics, behavioral health, dental, and HIV services. With healthcare costs rising and government assistance under pressure, every contribution helps keep our doors open for the families who need us most.

Support from corporate partners and their employees plays a vital role in sustaining MNHC's care and support services. Payroll deduction lets employees give year-round — not just during a single annual season.
Many corporations run annual United Way campaigns to raise money for local charities. You and your colleagues may designate your contribution to MNHC. We're happy to send a representative to your workplace to share more about our mission.
Local companies and individuals support MNHC through in-kind gifts of products, services, and time — funding new activities or sustaining existing programs in ways cash alone can't.
Many employers match charitable contributions made by their employees — a simple way for a company to demonstrate community leadership. Check with your HR department or corporate foundation to see if your gift can be matched.
Mission Neighborhood Health Center (legal name: Mission Area Health Associates) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We will mail you a thank-you letter that can be used as a tax receipt. EIN 94-2284365. Per IRS Publication 1771, your acknowledgement letter will state that no goods or services were provided in exchange for your contribution, so you can substantiate the full amount as a deduction (required for any single gift of $250 or more).
