Sites and Locations
Leveraging community-based values through community oriented primary care (COPC) for disease prevention-reduction, MNHC works with patients for long-term positive health outcomes and promotes healthy community.
Using the COPC model, MNHC has responded to emergent demographic, medical, social and community needs that have positioned our San Francisco expansion. MNHC maintains these sites:
- Main flagship comprehensive primary service site with pediatrics, women's health, including obstetrics, adult medicine, and teen clinics was started in 1967;
- HIV/AIDS-Clínica Esperanza started in 1989;
- Excelsior Clinic opened in 2000;
- Mission Neighborhood Resource Center(MNRC) for Services to the Homeless began in 2002; and
- Prevention Education site newly initiated in March of 2006.
All visits are made by appointment, except for sick care and emergencies and for MNRC, which is a walk in only clinic.
